KARHA NIZHARADZE 

Georgian artist with a long achievement list, lived in France and in Belgium, now working in Geneva. Has successfully exhibited his paintings in many European cities. 

His work lies at the edge of the abstract and the figurative, leading the viewer into an oniric and timeless dimension. Karha considers portrait as the main road into human’s exploration. Karha's mediums are generally oil or acrylic: his inimitable juxtaposition of thick - pasty and transparent-thin layers, carved with knife as in a real “bas-relief”, which provide an impressive depth, brings into an organic dimension.
